rambunctious
but punctual
training multiple
sets of eyes
on a single subject

hopefully being
spared
the anguish of
worry
yet perpetually
sensing
a tragedy to come

simultaneously
complying
unifying impulses
of coupling
abundancy
remaining faithful
to a chaotic rush
towards circuitous
unconditional love

as the work of bursting
co-suffering
or so it would seem
seeking
to re-unite like reliable
allies
exercising in double time
measuring
twice as a rhythmic revival
of new life...
